David has more 40-years in the aerospace supply chain, as an owner and employee. His eclectic span of experience has brought a unique perspective to the non-profit leadership of manufacturers and an overall understanding of the manufacturing base and how public and private resources interact to help the manufacturing base and local economic development. David is also a co-founder of SMA of CA, SMI, and the Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley. He has served with numerous non-profit organizations, government committees and academic advisory committees. Most notably, he was on the founding Board of both the California Manufacturing Technology Center and the Foundation for the Advancement of Manufacturing Education (FAME). He is a past member of California Workforce investment Board's Small Business Committee, LA WIB Youth Council and a member of the California Community College's Executive Committee of Ed>Net. David currently serves on the Executive Committee for Amp SoCal, Strong Workforce Apprenticeship Group, Society of Manufacturing Engineers Board Chapter 153 and as the Chairman of Congressman Cardenas' Manufacturing Council in the San Fernando Valley.
